If SC affiliation is needed, a business license and food business license are also required.
From requirements communication to first-batch delivery, the standard cycle is about 15-25 business days, including 3-5 days for sample confirmation, 5-7 days for packaging design, 7-15 days for production and processing, and 2-3 days for quality inspection. If existing products and packaging templates are used, delivery can be as fast as 7-10 days. Seasonal products such as spring tea should be booked 60 days in advance.
MulanXU has a professional design team and provides packaging design services. The first design is free (including 2 initial drafts + 1 revision); subsequent revisions are charged at RMB 100 per version. Clients can also provide their own design files, and we handle layout and sample confirmation. Custom gift boxes require a separate mold fee (RMB 500-2,000 per design, depending on complexity).
The standard MOQ is 5kg for loose-leaf and 50 boxes for gift boxes. First-order clients can enjoy a "trial order" policy: from 2kg loose-leaf or 20 gift boxes, with a 15% unit price markup. Long-term clients can enjoy lower MOQs and more favorable pricing. Specific terms can be negotiated based on needs — we will do our best to accommodate.
MulanXU offers an SC affiliation service (using our production qualifications), with no self-application needed — suitable for small and medium clients. If you need to apply for your own SC license, the full process takes about 3-6 months and costs about RMB 10,000-30,000 (including consulting + materials + factory audit). We provide full guidance and factory audit coaching.
Exporting tea requires: ① export food production enterprise registration; ② product inspection and quarantine certificates; ③ other certifications required by the importing country (such as EU Organic, US FDA registration, etc.). MulanXU already holds export registration and can provide affiliation export services for partner clients. Consulting on special certifications for target markets is also available.
Yes, samples can be made. Regular samples (existing products) are sent free of charge with shipping collect. Custom-blended samples incur a cost fee (RMB 200-500 per item, including tea + handmade packaging), fully credited after ordering. Sample production takes 3-5 business days and is shipped via SF Express.
MulanXU implements a "three-inspection" system: ① incoming raw material inspection (pesticide residues/heavy metals/moisture); ② in-process spot checks (moisture content/broken-leaf ratio/net weight); ③ finished product release testing (third-party CMA/CNAS laboratories). A quality inspection report is issued for every batch, and blockchain traceability codes are fully auditable. Non-conforming products are remade free of charge or fully refunded.
