In principle, you can add guests at the last minute, but please note the following:

  1. Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance so we can prepare enough ingredients and tableware
  2. Adding 1–3 guests can usually be covered by paying the per-person difference on top of the original set menu
  3. If more than 4 extra guests join, the package may need to be upgraded to a higher tier
  4. The indoor space comfortably seats up to 12 guests per table; for more than 12, we recommend confirming in advance whether a second table is needed

Yes. The four tiers are standard reference options — you are free to mix dishes across tiers. For example, choose Tier B as your base but request the rich fish-head soup from Tier A; we can swap the dish in and adjust the total price based on its actual cost.

Our chef team supports highly flexible customization — tell us what you have in mind and we will do our best to make it happen.

Absolutely. This is one of the big advantages of the Private Chef Banquet over a regular restaurant — the entire gathering experience happens in one building:

  • Before dinner: play a few rounds of Guandan in the card area, a game of billiards, or warm up with some KTV
  • After dinner: head to the rooftop terrace for fresh air, enjoy a cocktail at the bar, or play a few games on the PS5
  • For the elders: while the younger guests enjoy KTV/games, elders can sip tea and chat at the kung-fu tea table

Use of the entertainment facilities is included in the banquet package at no extra charge (excluding special value-added services).

Every banquet includes a Wuyi Rock Tea tasting (Tier A additionally includes a Wuyi Rock Tea gift set valued at about ¥299):

  • Pre-dinner tea: on seating, guests are first served a pot of authentic Wuyi Rock Tea (choose from Dahongpao / Rougui / Shuixian) to warm up and refresh
  • Tea ceremony talk: for those who want to learn more, our tea masters can explain Wuyi tea culture and brewing techniques on site
  • After-dinner tea chat: after the meal, continue sipping tea and chatting at the kung-fu tea table
  • Buy the tea: if you fall in love with a particular tea, scan the QR code to order it directly — with full blockchain traceability for authenticity

All Mulan Tea Story Rock Tea products come from our own 30-mu century-old tea garden in the core Zhengyan producing area of Tianxin Village, Wuyishan City — supervised by intangible-heritage inheritors and crafted through 12 traditional steps. This is our core difference from an ordinary restaurant: tea is not just a drink here — it is the soul of the brand.
